Unfortunately due to the current situation with the Covid 19 outbreak, we have had to make some significant changes to protect you, our clients, our valuable staff and their families and our local community 🐾
🐱 We have closed Woodley and Cheadle branches to relocate staff to keep Poynton open and clients are no longer permitted to enter the practice building.
🐶 We are still open for urgent and emergency appointments for your poorly pets, and ask you to telephone to see if we can arrange an alternative to travelling, so you can ‘stay at home’
🐰 We are offering veterinary phone consults when appropriate
🐱 There are many routine medications that we can post to you, including flea and worm treatment. For those we cannot legally send, we are booking appointments, for contact-free collection from Poynton
🐶 Payments need to be taken over the phone to maintain social distancing.
🐰 Unfortunately we are not able to book in any more routine appointments or any non urgent surgeries.
🐱 Please only travel with one client per pet
🐶 If you have an appointment with us then please telephone us when you arrive in the car park and wait in your car. Please make sure you give our staff the correct mobile number so we can contact you to discuss your concerns about you pet.
🐰At present we are operating our normal opening hours of 8:30 – 6:30 but this may be subject to change.
🐱Please only contact the practice during normal opening hours with any urgent concerns or emails. Please be aware it may take us longer to see our patients than normal so please forgive us if we are running a little late!
🐶Our out of hours service will still be provided by vets now as always.
We are reviewing the situation on a daily basis, according the government advice and the information given to us by the royal college of veterinary surgeons. We will keep you informed of any changed through our facebook page and any major changes will also be sent via email. 🐾
Thank you for your patience at this difficult time. 🙂
and payment options.
If you are experiencing symptoms or are in self-isolation but your pet needs treatment, please allow a family member or friend to bring them in. If this is not possible then we can meet you outside our entrance to receive your pet.
We currently encourage card payment rather than cash to help maintain high hygiene standards in our practice.
Routine preventative health care appointments may be adjusted by clinic teams to ensure that our resources are managed most effectively in order to provide the best possible pet care during this time.
Follow-up examinations, including repeated prescriptions, may be conducted via video consultation where appropriate. We expect that in most instances you may visit us to collect medications however a postal service may also be available if necessary.
We assure you that the care of your pet is our priority so we will accept your pet for a physical appointment if necessary. In such a case we request that only one symptom-free owner accompanies your pet to our practice.
Thank you for your support over the coming days and weeks. We will keep in touch with you should the situation change further. Please keep an eye on our website or follow us on Facebook for the latest updates.
